Social Security celebrated its 90th birthday this year, but many people nearing retirement are still worried about its longevity and have more questions than answers about the future of their benefits. 

Join ElderWatch, a partnership between AARP and the Colorado attorney general’s office that educates consumers on financial matters, and AARP Social Security Program Manager Jammie Lyell to learn about Social Security’s history and what you need to consider to maximize your benefits. We’ll also explore the program’s solvency status and solutions to assure its future.
