Who can attend?
All adults attend, regardless of age or membership status.

How many guests can I bring?
Attendees can register up 5 guests.

Is there a cost for this event?
No, it is free for everyone. But all participants should pre-register.

What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving at the event 15 minutes prior to start time.

How long does the event last for?
Each event lasts for 2 hours.

If classes are full can I be placed on a waitlist?
We do not offer a waitlist for full classes. However, classes are scheduled on a regular basis. To view upcoming schedules by state, please visit learn.aarp.org.

Will there be another AARP CAREversations event in my area?
This program is offered several times a year in many cities across the U.S. To view upcoming schedules by state, please visit learn.aarp.org.

Do I need to register for this event?
Yes. There are two easy ways to register.
You can view events online at In-Person Learning and click 'register' for quick online registration or call 1-866-740-6947.

Will there be any food and/or beverages served?
Yes. Light refreshments will be provided.

How do I become a member of AARP?
Call AARP at 1-888-OUR-AARP to sign up for an AARP membership or visit our website at www.aarp.org.

Can I bring my child or grandchild to this event?
Because this event is designed for you to get hands-on experience and interact with other participants, it is not an ideal setting for small children. Please make alternative arrangements for small children if possible.
